Dear parents,

It's close to your child's birthday and again, you ask, where are we going to celebrate...? Well we have the answer - SEA LIFE Munich!

The birthday group will take part in an exciting treasure hunt through the Centre where the kids will learn a lot on their own way about the fascinating underwater world. If all the clues have been set right the treasure chest will be found in a secret hiding place in the Centre.

Q&A:
How old should the kids be to participate in the treasure hunt?
We recommend between 6 and 12 years. If the children are younger the parent accompanying the group must assist to read and solve the quizz questions.

What is the mimimum size of a birthday group?
5 kids minimum. A maximum of 10 -12.

What kind of treasure is to be found in the treasure chest?
Anything that you choose to bring from home or select from the wide range of products in our souvenir shop. A SEA LIFE team member will welcome the birthday group and will lock your treasure in the chest while the kids are on their way through the Centre (The treasures are not included in the price).

Is the group accompanied/supervised by a SEA LIFE Employee?
A SEA LIFE team member will welcome the group and lead them into our class room and will hold an introductive talk giving all kind of usefull hints for the treasure hunt and then handing out the quiz forms. After that the group will go through the centre on its own, only accompanied by the participating adults/parents.

Is there catering after the treasure chest?
As SEA LIFE Munich has no own catering facilities there is no catering in the Centre itself. But a birthday table can be reserved in the "Olympiasee Restaurant" right oposite the centre.

Can we bring a birthday cake?
We have seating facilities in our foyer or on the terrace. Due to the limited space we are not able to make a reservation for those tables, but still you are welcome to bring your own cake and picknick.

How long does the treasure chest take?
Depending on the age of the kids between 45 minutes and 1,5 hours.

How much does it cost?
EUR 10,00 per child*
EUR 15,50 per adult*
The birthday child and its parents (father and/or mother only) have free admission
The birthday child will receive a gift from us: a SEA LIFE Munich year pass, which enables the child to visit SEA LIFE Munich for free for the following 12 months
